Camelot Farms Horses

Coastal trail rides are always a favorite at Camelot Farms

The Rocky Mountain Horse

As Majestic as its name, the Rocky Mountain Horse is assuredly a "breed apart". Its blend of gentle temperment, willingness to please, and inherent sociable nature is unique in the gaited equine world. The basic characteristics are a medium-sized horse of gentle temperment with a consistently even smooth four-beat gait. These characteristics are making the Rocky Mountain Horse increasingly popular for endurance riding, as well as for the rail and the trail.

Our Horses

We do not breed horses anymore but from time to time we might find a well trained horse that could use a good home. From time to time we also have horses that have been rescued by Beaufort County that we are looking for their special new owner. We are very careful about where our horses go and make sure, as much as possible, is a good fit for both horse and new owner.
