Camelot Farms Horses and Horses for Sale
The Rocky Mountain Horse
As Majestic as its name, the Rocky Mountain Horse is assuredly a "breed apart". Its blend of gentle temperment, willingness to please, and inherent sociable nature is unique in the gaited equine world. The basic characteristics are a medium-sized horse of gentle temperment with a consistently even smooth four-beat gait. These characteristics are making the Rocky Mountain Horse increasingly popular for endurance riding, as well as for the rail and the trail.
Our Horses
Each Spring at Camelot Farms is an exciting time while we wait for the new crop of foals to be born. We usually produce only two or three foals each year to insure that there will be enough time each day for bonding with and teaching each new arrival. We breed not only for conformation and gait but also for personality. Our broodmares are working horses on the farm and prove themselves each day on the trail and sometimes in the show ring. Care is taken to find the right stallion to produce quality offspring.
Some of our foals remain on the farm for use in our programs but to make room for the new arrivals each year we do have a limited number of horses for sale. Please enjoy looking at our offerings at this time and let us know if you have any questions about any of the horses on our for sale page. We accept Master Card and Visa.
