The Saddle Pad Guest House

The Saddle Pad Guest House

Camelot Farms is happy to offer accommodations for horse people or non-horse people who wish a stay on the island with us. Whether for a day or a couple of weeks we maintain the Saddle Pad Guest House for our visitors. We are located near fishing, kayaking, golf, boating, shopping, Hunting Island State Park and historic downtown Beaufort. Historic Beaufort hosts a variety of entertaining festivals throughout the year. Camelot‘s Saddle Pad Guest House is located at the entrance to our farm and includes private paddocks located next to the house. The Saddle Pad has three bedrooms, two baths, fully equipped kitchen, cable TV and an internet connection.

The Saddle Pad Guest House

For our horse visitors we offer boarding for your horses, full or partial board, training, lessons, guided rides, and special horseback riding day trips – all by appointment. There is always something going on at the farm. We are happy to have you be a "farmer for a day" and immerse yourselves in the equestrian life: just schedule with the Barn Manager and she will put you to work! You just might help deliver one of our new foals or drive a tractor!

Enjoy this time with your horse just relaxing or working on a new maneuver. Take hands-on ground-work lessons to improve your horse’s confidence and respect, or polish up that seat in the ring or covered arena. After a lesson go out and ride for miles along beautiful dirt roads and to the beach area. Watch the sunset on the water while riding the marsh lands.
